Bill Belichick will not return as head coach of the New England Patriots in 2024. His 24 seasons with the Patriots spanned a pair of mini-dynasties bridged together by himself and quarterback Tom Brady in what was the most successful partnership the league had ever seen.
"The Patriot Way" become synonymous with Belichick, who became− synonymous with winning. That led to records – some broken, some he's still chasing – and plenty of statistics worth mentioning.

Belichick won six Super Bowls − the most for any head coach − with the Patriots.

Belichick went 266-121 in the regular season. His 2007 team had an undefeated regular-season campaign, while his 2023 squad posted a 4-13 mark, the most dismal season of his time with the Patriots.
Belichick had 19 consecutive winning seasons (2001-2019). He won 17 division titles during that span, which is another record of his.

Belichick was 83-104 overall in games coached without Tom Brady as his starting quarterback. He was 29-39 (counting playoffs) since Brady signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020. Brady retired last offseason.

By his latest contract, Belichick was the highest-paid coach in sports. According to Sportico, he made $25 million per year.
